Portland Clean Energy Fund, American Climate Leadership Awards Finalist

Portland Clean Energy Fund was among 10 American Climate Leadership Award finalists recognized at the American Climate Leadership Awards Virtual Ceremony on March 25. 

Portland Clean Energy Fund is the first climate initiative in Oregon created and led by low-income people and people of color (frontline communities). Supported by a broad, diverse coalition, PCEF generates annual funding via a 1% surcharge on billion-dollar corporations. PCEF grants support renewable energy, energy efficiency and green infrastructure projects, alongside job and contractor training, and emphasize benefiting frontline communities.
