ecoAmerica Receives $50,000 Grant from Ipsos to Train the Next Generation of Climate Leaders

ecoAmerica is proud to announce a $50,000 grant from Ipsos to support our ambitious work to engage and equip the next generation of climate leaders across the United States.

ecoAmerica is proud to announce a $50,000 grant from Ipsos to support our ambitious work to engage and equip the next generation of climate leaders across the United States. This generous funding will enable us to expand the reach and impact of our Climate Ambassador training, engaging a broader spectrum of young people, especially those from underserved communities, in civic leadership. The funding also supports a semester-long fellowship for one young leader to help shape and outreach on the evolution of the training. As part of the grant, ecoAmerica will offer a dedicated online training for IPSOS employees and their families to take individually or in groups on their own time and at their own pace.

Building Skills, Confidence, and Community

Through ecoAmerica’s Climate Ambassador training, young people will gain:

  • Education, resources, and guidance on climate impacts and solutions
  • Strengthened confidence and leadership capacity for climate communication and action
  • Enhanced personal and professional resilience to navigate a changing climate landscape
  • Skill-building opportunities to support workforce development in public speaking  and advocacy
  • Connection and collaboration with peers in a private online community
  • Recognition, incentives, and awards for climate leadership and community impact

Investing in Future Climate Leaders

With this funding, ecoAmerica and Ipsos are investing in a future powered by youth leadership. Together, we’re helping young people grow their knowledge, amplify their voices, and accelerate climate action in communities nationwide.

We look forward to sharing stories and outcomes from this growing network of young climate leaders in the months ahead.
