Research Manager

Marryam received her MPA from Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs, focusing on Economic and Political Development. As Research Manager at ecoAmerica, she leads national climate research projects and works to expand their visibility and impact through strategic analysis, reporting, and partner and media engagement. While at Columbia, Marryam served as a Graduate Consultant to the UN Resident Coordinator Office in Mongolia, developing sustainable business cases to support the country’s renewable energy transition. She also worked as a Reports and Partnerships Specialist with Columbia’s Communities Speak Project, helping elevate community voices in policymaking. Her previous professional experiences include a corporate market research role before transitioning to data and research positions with the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government and UNESCO. Originally from Pakistan, Marryam currently lives in New York. In her free time, she enjoys cooking Asian recipes, catching Broadway shows, and spending time with her loved ones.
