Marryam Ishaq — Senior Research Manager

Senior Research Manager

At ecoAmerica, Marryam leads national climate research projects and works to expand the organization’s visibility and impact through strategic research, public opinion polling, reporting, and partner and media engagement.

She received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. While at Columbia, she served as a Graduate Consultant to the UN Resident Coordinator Office in Mongolia, where she developed sustainable business cases to support the country’s renewable energy transition. She also worked as a research assistant with Columbia’s Communities Speak Project, helping elevate community voices in policymaking.

Prior to joining ecoAmerica, Marryam worked in corporate market research before transitioning to data and research roles at the University of Oxford’s Blavatnik School of Government and UNESCO. Originally from Pakistan, she currently lives in New York.
