Working With Us

Our Organization

ecoAmerica moves society toward climate solutions by inspiring and empowering trusted national health, faith, and civic institutions and their millions of stakeholders across America to visibly act and advocate.

You’ll be among a team of 20 professionals working to move Americans forward on climate solutions, particularly those who are in the movable middle (who are concerned but not yet active). If you yearn to be an active participant in an innovative, creative, and highly professional organization that engages in deep collaboration and allows for growth opportunities, then ecoAmerica is for you! Join us as we thoughtfully pursue audacious ideas, are deeply committed to our partners, broker optimism, and keep our focus on furthering impact within a consequential timeframe.

Working Toward A Culture in Which All Belong

ecoAmerica has invested in workplace culture since our inception over 15 years ago. Our first slogan was “start with people,” with the intention to foster broader inclusion in climate and environmental action. Over the years we rolled out several initiatives to further this intention. In 2021, we formally published our statement and commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI). And, in 2022, we launched our annual JEDI task force to further operationalize the commitment in our work, deepen learning, survey progress, and strengthen our practices toward an inclusive workplace that promotes diversity and engenders belonging.

Location

Our office is located in Washington, DC.  We offer in-office, flexible hybrid and remote options (position dependent). ecoAmerica’s partners are US-based.
