City of Savannah is among 10 American Climate Leadership Award finalists to be recognized at the American Climate Leadership Awards Broadcast on April 16.
City of Savannah adopted the 100% Clean Energy Pledge and has since championed investments in clean energy — propelling Savannah to become the largest municipal provider of solar energy in all of Georgia. In addition, the formula utilized to propel this program was then applied for and scaled statewide via a grant from the EPA that has granted $150 million to provide equitable access to solar energy to all Georgians. The EPA is currently examining this program for potential to scale nationwide.
