Are Americans Making the Climate and Health Connection?

In this special episode we take a look at American Public Health Association’s and ecoAmerica’s latest American Climate Perspective Surveys titled “Are Americans Making the Climate and Health Connection?” and “Climate Change Sparks Emotional Responses” with two of the authors: Nicole Hill, ecoAmerica’s Research and Marketing Manager and Katherine Catalano, the Deputy Director of the American Public Health Association’s Center for Climate, Health, and Equity.

It’s important for our work in building public support and political resolve for climate solutions to understand if people are making the connection between their own health and the climatic changes and climate impacts around them or their families, friends, and loved ones. Similarly, it’s important to know how US adults are feeling about climate change when they think about it.
