Linking Progress on Racial and Climate Justice

Featuring a conversation with Deeohn Ferris, President, Institute for Sustainable Communities.

The Environmental Justice movement is said to have begun in 1982 when African American communities in NC protested the state’s decision to move truckloads of toxic PCB-laden soil to their neighborhoods. Join our conversation to hear more about the climate justice movement, the successes and challenges of this important work, and how it can be applied in other communities.
