We are pleased to announce the winning photo, submitted by Alycia Bacon!


Title: Albany NY for Climate Jobs and Justice!!!

Description: “Rally hosted by several member groups of coalition NY Renews. We have been fighting for NY leaders to fully fund and implement the Climate law (CLCPA) which passed in 2019. We are asking for a just transition to renewable energy with good union jobs too! We are the progressive movement in NYS- we are multiracial and work across age and class.”

As “Albany NY for Climate Jobs and Justice” is named the winner of the #EveryoneEveryDay photo contest, Alycia Bacon will receive an award of $300.

Congratulations to Mark Linel Padecio who submitted the second-place photo titled, “City Harvest”!

“A father and his son tenderring their plants, a containerized gardening located in a highly urbanized city of Mandaue, Cebu in the Philippines. Containerized Gardening is a great example of mitigating the climate change as they use the recycled plastic container rather than augmenting the plastic waste that could harm the environment.”

Congratulations to Shodo Spring who submitted the third-place photo titled, “Northfield Pipeline Vigil”
