Clean Air Carolina, American Climate Leadership Awards 2021 Finalist

Clean Air Carolina are among 10 American Climate Leadership Award (ACLA) finalists to be recognized at the American Climate Leadership Summit 2021 (ACLS 2021) on April 27 during the live broadcast.

Clean Air Carolina’s created the Charlotte Mecklenburg Climate Leaders, a strong model of community engagement that has successfully spurred city and county government action on climate change. With membership representing a broad cross-section of organizations and sectors the Charlotte Mecklenburg Climate Leaders challenge, educate, and partner with local elected officials and sustainability staff to set and achieve robust carbon reduction goals. They also challenge and engage North Carolina’s energy provider, Duke Energy, one of the country’s largest utility companies.
